Silly from SillystreetheartS makes street sculptures; always in the shape of hearts. Started just before the Corona pandemic she feels it’s important to ignite social topics as well as lift people’s spirits with a healthy dose of sillyness.
The story behind the artwork
Since the theme is ‘Sharing’ I wanted to create a small but colorful space where neighbors can leave a sweet card for a random passerby or share a small gift or some flowers from the garden with each other. Because ‘Sharing is Love’!

How did the painting go?
The passers-by were very enthusiastic, positive and thought it was a nice initiative. Also the children understood very well what I meant with my message because ‘with sharing you make someone else happy and that is great’. One man on a bicycle stopped, glanced at the text, put his hands in the air and quickly cycled on with a heartfelt ‘Thank you, madam’. That gesture touched me the most.
